Dec. 6, 04 Theft, Torture and Murder Continues at Yazoo Federal Prison
Yazoo Federal Prison located in Yazoo, Mississippi has been the topic of Federal investigations that appear to go nowhere. Yazoo Prison, pictured above, seems like a comfy modern prison built in 1997 for low security Federal prisoners. However, a chamber of horrors is what the prisoners at Yazoo claim Yazoo prison really is. Thousands of complaints from prisoners at Yazoo and their family members, sparked federal investigations, which went nowhere. A cover up? you decide! It all started with the 9-11 attack, September 11, 2001. Confirmed reports revealed while U.S. Attorney Ashcroft was appearing on television directly after the September 11th attack on the Twin Towers taunting; the United States will not retaliate against Middle East citizens as the US did with the Japanese after Pearl Harbor. Ashcroft’s Bureau of Prisons (BOP) immediately put a majority of Middle East prisoners in the hole. Tortured them and advised them they would be killed. An abundance of proof was provided to investigators Steve Hunter and Greg Lowther of the Office of the Inspector General (OIG). The OIG is the Department of Justice’s internal federal investigation department. Also under the total control of Attorney General Ashcroft. Rumor has it that; Hunter and Lowther’s investigation was leading directly to Attorney General Ashcroft and high echelon in the BOP. BOP prisoner, James T. Kimball, and his associates held an abundance of proof of the atrocities conducted by the BOP upon these foreign American citizens. The proof was provided to the OIG and is still kept today by Kimball’s associates. The OIG stopped the investigation, abruptly in 2002. Prisoner Kimball, holding proof along with affidavits of some of the tortured prisoners was retaliated upon fiercely by the BOP; regional Director R. E. Holt; with trumped up charges and two murder attempts. Unsuccessful to date. Warden Swope, a warden at Coleman Low Federal Prison; under the direction of R. E. Holt, Regional Director of the BOP in Atlanta, GA, was replaced as warden at Coleman for his role in the torture and death threats. For Warden Swope’s part in the torture and death treatments of foreign citizens; Swope was promoted by R. E. Holt to be his assistant in Atlanta. Swope later died. Kimball, for his efforts in saving the tortured prisoners and getting them released from the hole; received over 3 months of torture in Coleman’s hole, 2 murder attempts, and was shipped to Yazoo disciplinary punishment prison by orders from Holt. BOP director Katherine Hawk Sayer eventually resigned; allegedly retired. Yazoo prison, proclaimed by thousands of prisoners to be the worst torture prison in the BOP, is also controlled by R. E. Holt. Kimball was advised by higher staff at Yazoo; that Yazoo being the disciplinary prison that it is, will normally rotate out all prisoners within 18 months, except special prisoners that Holt’s region red flags. Kimball being a red flag ; as are many others the BOP deliberately sends to their torture prison at Yazoo. The torture and death at Yazoo punishment prison; that Kimball and other federal prisoners have reported consistently to Congressional people, and federal investigating agencies have gone nowhere. Eventually Kimball with the help of a non-profit organization posted this internet website depicting the atrocities being committed at Yazoo against federal prisoners. Kimball named the tortured prisoners along with the ones that died from the torture, under Torture and Death Camps at the top of this page. Kimball reported that horrible food, food poisoning and deliberate medical neglect at Yazoo was one of the foremost causes of needless torture and death at Yazoo. In April of 2004, the food federal prisoners at Yazoo received; degenerated to such a degree, food poisoning was running ramped according to Kimball. Many prisoners refused to eat the normal diet of rice, beans and potatoes which contained maggots, rat droppings and dirt. On April 9, 2004 around 500 prisoners working for UNICOR; at the prison; (starting at 15 cents an hour) decided to eat their own food instead of the horrible food at the prison. Holt’s punishment prison locked the prisoners out of their housing units so they could not get to the food they purchased. About 500 UNICOR prisoners were involved; out of the over 2,000 prisoners at Yazoo. The prisoners had done nothing wrong. They just chose to eat their own food they purchased with their own money. Holt immediately retaliated; locking all 2,000 prisoners into their housing units; refusing all prisoners showers or to wash their clothes. The lockdown lasted 12 days. Medical disasters occurred while Holt’s prison fed the prisoners even worse food. Families traveling thousands of miles to see prisoners, lost their money and saw no one; as all visitations were cancelled without notice. All telephone communications were immediately cut off by Holt’s BOP in retaliation. The most inhumane act R. E. Holt took upon himself was to pick prisoners and ship them from Yazoo to higher security prisons and leave them in the hole for over 6 months, enduring even more torture. This is all illegal; however Mr. Holt appears to be above all laws and inhumane treatment of prisoners. Mr. Holt appears to be untouchable! Federal law; 28 CFR § 541.22(a)(6)(i)(ii)(iii) state the following: any prisoner placed in the Special Housing Unit (SHU), (which is the BOP’s fancy name for the hole) that does not receive a disciplinary report must receive the following:
The law; 28 CFR § 541.22(b) states, all prisoners are to receive an order from the warden of why they were placed in the hole within 24 hours. No inmate ever received any such order. Clearly a violation of due process of law. The law; 28 CFR § 541.22(c) a review by a Segregation Reviewing Officer (SRO) must be conducted for every prisoner. No review was conducted. Also that the SRO must hold a hearing every 30 days for each prisoner in the hole. No hearings were held for any of the prisoners. The law; 28 CFR § 541.22(d) states conditions in the hole for prisoners under investigation must be equivalent to conditions for the general prisoner population. No such conditions were provided. The law; 28 CFR (a)(6)(iii) states that the Regional manager; R. E. Holt makes the decision to keep prisoners in hole past the time allotted by law which is 90 days. It appears Regional Director Holt did much more torture, and violations of law than could be imagined. Directly after Holt’s food lockdown at Yazoo prison, Assistant BOP Director Michael Cooksey directly over R. E. Holt resigned; allegedly retired. Warden Pettiford at Yazoo prison was transferred to another prison. Subsequently, the Assistant Warden at Yazoo prison, M. Mitchell, resigned, allegedly retired; as did O. D. Holland, head of UNICOR at Yazoo. Captain Williams at Yazoo was transferred to a prison in New York. However, it appears that R. E. Holt survived the mass exit of BOP higher echelon. The alleged illegal activities are still being conducted, claims Kimball. Mr. Holt apparently never stopped the illegal retaliation activity against the prisoners at Yazoo. Mr. Holt authorized not only the transfer of prisoners, he ordered their placement in the hole. He ordered the theft of the prisoner’s food and transfer to higher security prisons. He authorized their containment in the hole for over seven months, both at Yazoo and other prisons throughout the U.S. A non-profit organization, Citizens Liberty Coalition, (CLC) a sponsor of this website tracked and communicated with the prisoners Holt shipped from the hole at Yazoo to the holes in other Federal prisons throughout the US; away from their families. One prisoner was tracked by CLC to a maximum security prison in Colorado. The letters from these prisoners are horrifying. These inmate letters are posted on this website under Lawless Authority News Updates. The medical treatment at Yazoo under Holt’s command after the food incident in April of 2004, went from horrible to a total disaster as the deaths and medical torture continued; unchecked, reported Kimball. After seven months of CLC constantly reporting continuing atrocities against prisoners at Yazoo, and in Holt’s BOP region, nothing has changed, as Holt controls. CLC also has posted the names of the victims and description of the torture and deaths prisoners suffered at Yazoo, on this website, under Torture and Death Camps Across The U.S. The latest statements from BOP officials at Yazoo, reported to prisoner Kimball, is that huge amounts of goods came up missing at Yazoo prison and inventories were tampered with. Monies were missing and the institution was having a credit problem supplying prisoners with commissary items and paying hospital bills for prisoners. Kimball associates have proof of the unpaid medical bills to hospitals. What are investigators doing after 8 months? How did R. E. Holt survive? These are just some of the questions involving the ongoing saga at Yazoo Prison. What of prisoner Kimball who is still at Yazoo prison 3 years later? Kimball maintained he was innocent; and his conviction was rigged by the Government, as are many other Federal prisoners. There is not any question BOP Regional Director Holt kept Kimball and other prisoners in the hole more than three months as by law; Holt is the only one that can do so. Holt also is the person that transferred Kimball to Yazoo as his office must agree to the transfer. Holt is the one keeping Kimball and others at Yazoo punishment prison, after Yazoo attempted to transfer Kimball twice to a camp facility closer to his family. Kimball holds letters Holt wrote to US Senators stating he will not transfer Kimball, because Kimball “may” have done something wrong at Coleman Federal Prison in Florida. At Coleman, Kimball was 30 minutes from his home. At Yazoo Kimball is 700 miles away from his family. Another illegal act by Holt. What did Holt accuse Kimball of, to rig Kimball’s transfer? Kimball was accused of taking medicine at visitation that was in this son’s root beer can purchased at Coleman’s visitation’s vending machines. After a duty officer at Coleman, confirmed what was in the root beer can, was only root beer ; Kimball was placed in the hole for over three months and shipped to Yazoo Prison, by R. E. Holt. The BOP claims they gave the root beer left in Kimball’s son’s can to the FDA for testing. There was no medicine ever found in his son’s root beer can. Kimball was never charged by the BOP for any wrong doing and was refused any explanation, or any hearings on the matter. Violations of law and Kimball’s rights; all pointing to Holt. Kimball’s rigged conviction and what actually happened to Kimball is in Kimball’s own sworn words on www.discovery-experimental.com website under Rigged Convictions Across The U.S. and Torture And Death Camps Across The US. No retaliation here; is there??? As suggested in the beginning: A cover up; you decide! The Holt saga continues... |
