Bureau of Prisons (BOP) Regional Director R. E. Holt continues to torture his prisoner victims of April 9, 2004

Update Of Continued Torture By BOP
from April 9, 2004 – June 28, 2004

1. On April 9, 2004 CLC reported the illegal retaliation against Federal prisoners at Yazoo Punishment Prison in Yazoo, Mississippi. These illegal ongoing acts; deliberately inflicting unwarranted, cruel and abusive treatment against prisoners, and their families appears to go all the way to the top gunsin Washington. These top guns are Mr. Harley G. Lappin, head of the BOP, following orders put forth by Attorney General Ashcroft.

2. This 12-day torture spree, that clearly appeared to start with a combination of BOP hierarchy named O. D. Holland, Warden Pettiford and R. E. Holt in Atlanta, clearly ended up within a few days in the hands of the BOP and Ashcroft.

3. The designated emergency lockdown at the Yazoo Federal Prison in Yazoo, Mississippi, obviously condoned by the BOP and Attorney General Ashcroft was a phony. A total pretext by everyone involved.

4. There was no riot!!There was no threat of a riot. There wasn’t even any yelling or disorderly conduct in any respect. Everything was caused by the poisonous, rotten food served prisoners for nearly 2 years at the punishment, torture and death camp prison in Yazoo, Mississippi.

More torture today: This 12-day torturous phony emergency lockdown was announced as over on April 21, 2004. Everyone assumed the torture was over for all prisoners involved.

Total Lie: CLC makes inquires

5. The Citizens Liberty Coalition (CLC) decided to investigate further to see if Mr. Ashcroft, Mr. Lappin, Mr. Holt, Mr. Pettiford and Mr. O. D. Holland had actually stopped their deliberate retaliation against all the prisoners at Yazoo after all it’s now 2 months later.

All the above mentioned Did Not Stop Their Torture

6. CLC was advised that a busload of prisoners had their property ordered confiscated by BOP hierarchy; and were designated by R. E. Holt, BOP Regional Director, to be shipped from Yazoo Low Security Punishment Prison; to a higher Security Torture and Death camp of Mr. Holt, and Mr. Ashcroft; Talladega Federal Prison.

7. CLC tracked three of the alleged 32 prisoners shipped from Yazoo to Talladega Prison. CLC sent letters to each of them requesting information in their own words, about what happened to them.

8. CLC was shocked by their responses, as they were all of a similar nature. They were all put into the hole. The BOP has a fancy name for their torturous hole. The BOP calls their hole; the Special Housing Unit (SHU). They have been confined in the hole for over 2 months and the latest word is they are still there.

9. CLC received their replies. Most were written in pencil; as a pen is not allowed for prisoners in the hole, or is anything else to speak of. All of this is against the law, however the hierarchy of the BOP doesn’t adhere to any legislature laws. They make their own laws. Total lawless authority.

10. None of the prisoners who wrote CLC was charged by the BOP with doing anything wrong. Note:by the law, the BOP must charge any prisoner within 24 hours of being put in the hole; or give them an Administrative Detention order which none of the responding prisoners indicated they received. Again total Lawless Authority.

11. CLC holds their signed letters and has retyped their replies exactly as they were written to CLC. Their responses are posted below. (Please keep in mind that the verbiage may be a little different than you are used to and CLC believes one of the prisoners is of foreign decent.)

Note: While the lockdown was in process; CLC notified the Office Of The Inspector General (OIG) and the US Government General Accounting Office (GAO); about the phony lockdown by the BOP at Yazoo, and the outrageous, cruel and abusive treatment the BOP was retaliating with; for the BOP’s own doing and causing.

The OIG and GAO obviously agree with the ongoing inhumane treatment as not only did they do absolutely nothing they didn’t even care enough to even respond.

CLC also notified senators and will again. CLC can just imagine what lies were told to the senators about the pretext lockdown or current ongoing retaliation.
