Age 60. The BOP deliberately placed prisoner Harmon at 60 years old in an upper birth of a bunk bed without a ladder.
As stated on this link under One Of The Worst Torture And Death Camps many of the bunk beds in the prisoners housing units have no ladders while none of the bunk beds in the hole have ladders or in any of the holes throughout the BOP as far as Kimball is advised.
On Sept. 22, 03 at approximately 3:00 A.M. prisoner Harmon while attempting to climb into the top bunk bed via his chair; the chair slipped and Mr. Harmon fell full body impact on the cement floor. After landing on the floor Mr. Harmon was unable to move.
BOP staff throughout Yazoo Prison were alerted that prisoner Harmon had fallen to the cement floor unable to move at approximately 3:00 A.M. No one from Yazoo Prison authorized anyone to call an ambulance and no BOP staff were at Yazoo medical. It is surmised that alleged Dr. Chambers was called or alleged Dr. Newland, both BOP staff doctors at the Yazoo Prisons' medical clinic allegedly on call 24 hours a day. Both alleged doctors employed by the BOP are unlicensed, non-board certified to practice medicine in any state within the United States.
Prisoner Harmon was left on the floor from 3:00 A.M. until 8:00 A.M. in the morning. BOP medical staff arrives at Yazoo's medical clinic at 6:00 A.M.; however, did not have Mr. Harmon brought to Yazoo's medical clinic until 8:00 A.M.
Upon examination by Yazoo's medical clinic, Mr. Harmon was taken to an outside hospital.
At the hospital prisoner Harmon suffered a collapsed lung and received an operation where steel pins had to be implanted to repair the very serious injury to Mr. Harmon.
Although Mr. Harmon survived the ordeal, he could easily have bled to death due to the internal bleeding which caused his lung to collapse.
Additionally, the severe pain and suffering Mr. Harmon had to endure, lying on the floor needlessly for 5 hours is less than inhumane. Mr. Harmon has had to endure serious pain and immobility for months. As of Feb. 4, Mr. Harmon needs a cane to get around.
Did Mr. Holt, BOP Regional Director put ladders on the beds without ladders after he had Mr. Harmon interrogated by BOP staff as to what happened? Mr. R. E. Holt did not.
Shortly after Mr. Harmon's accident, another prisoner fell in the exact same manner as Mr. Harmon.
Prisoner Ricardo Romero, BOP #05786-033 was medically impaired and was authorized by the BOP to be assigned only a lower bunk bed.
Mr. Romero had in his possession too many magazines sent into him from friends and relatives. As punishment for having too many magazines, prisoner Romero was removed from the lower bunk he had in a cubicle and placed in a top bunk in a hallway where prisoners enter and exit. The bunk beds in the hallways and TV rooms do not have ladders. As Mr. Romero was climbing on top of his chair to get in his top bunk, the chair slipped and Romero suffered painful injuries. More about prisoner Romero is on this link under victims.
Did R. E. Holt Regional Director put ladders on the beds after Romero's subsequent fall, "NO"!
