4. Robert D. Treadway, BOP#10590-076 was wrongly and illegally imprisoned. Review Rigged Convictions Across The US

Prisoner Treadway was delayed needed surgery for his serious hernia conditions by the BOP medical staff at Yazoo Prison. The people involved with the deliberate delay was a man titled Dr. Chambers who was neither licensed, nor board certified as a medical doctor in any state within the United States. Also directly involved was Health Services Administrator (HSA) Ms. Sullivan. Others directly involved were persons currently unknown from BOP region in Atlanta, Georgia. As R. E. Holt, BOP Regional Director in Atlanta, he is ultimately responsible for every inhumane action taken against prisoners at Yazoo Prison. There were thousands.

It's not as if Mr. Holt is unaware of what has been transpiring at Yazoo. Kimball holds an abundance of documentation revealing not only has Holt's office been well informed of the inhumane acts at Yazoo Prison and refused to correct them; documents held by Kimball reflect that Director Holt personally caused some of these acts to transpire.

Prisoner Treadway was finally taken out for major surgery on Dec. 12, 03 at Vicksburg Hospital in Vicksburg, Mississippi.

The BOP, in a selective practice removes prisoners from hospitals, not allowing any necessary recovery time, which would be required if the person were not a prisoner in the custody of the BOP. This selective inhumane tactic by the BOP is an everyday practice across the US and causes the torture and death of prisoners daily throughout the BOP (This subject is well covered under the Bureau of Prisons (BOP) located at the top of this page and within this link).

Prisoner Treadway was returned to Yazoo prison from major surgery the same day Dec. 12, 03. Treadway was in excruciating pain. Yazoo refused to provide Treadway with any pain medication other than Tylenol, which did not work.

Yazoo Prison forced Treadway to walk to the cafeteria and stand in long lines to acquire his meals daily. The pain continued. Treadway was forced to walk to Yazoo medical, approximately a 1/4 mile walk, stand in long lines outdoors in the cold, 3 times daily to receive his Tylenol.

Even though Treadway was forced to walk to Yazoo medical clinic 3 times daily, constituting almost a mile walk between Dec. 12, 03 and Dec. 17, 03 no one at Yazoo medical examined Treadway nor checked his wound, or changed his dressing to include alleged Dr. Chambers.

On Dec. 17, 03 Treadway awoke in a pool of blood coming out of the wound area in his abdomen where his hernia had been removed. This was approximately 2:00 P.M. Counselor Williams, Treadway's housing unit officer, took charge of Treadway's emergency medical situation. Counselor Williams forced Treadway in excruciating pain and bleeding to walk 1,000 yards from Treadway's housing unit to Yazoo medical, when all Williams had to do was call medical and have prisoner Treadway picked up on Yazoo's medical electric cart.

Once at medical, Mr. Chambers took a scalpel and proceeded to perform surgery upon prisoner Treadway without anesthetic. Mr. Chambers took the scalpel and cut open the area where the surgery took place. The pain was unbearable. Once Mr. Chambers cut open Treadway's wound area, a horrible smell was released. Nurse Clarkson and one other nurse were present at the time.

Obviously Mr. Chambers considered himself a surgeon even though he didn't even hold a license within any state in the United States to practice any kind of medicine even as a chiropractor.

After cutting Treadway open, Mr. Chambers sent Treadway on his way, to walk the 1,000 yards back to his housing unit to die, without remorse.

At 8:00 P.M. prisoner Treadway was again forced to walk 1,000 yards to medical to pick up his Tylenol which had not subdued any pain in 5 days. Nurse Clarkson was waiting for Treadway.

Nurse Clarkson told Treadway to go inside and have a seat. Ms. Clarkson further told Treadway she knew what that smell was and she was getting Treadway to a hospital immediately. Of course alleged Dr. Chambers had left hours earlier, obviously with a clear conscience.

Treadway was taken to Vicksburg Hospital again for a second surgery. This surgery was because gangrene had set in. Treadway was advised by hospital staff and the operating doctor that he was very lucky to survive the operation. That his chances with gangrene that advanced were only 1 chance in 25 to survive the operation. Treadway was also advised by hospital staff that if he had not been taken to the hospital that night he definitely would not have lived. The surgeon told Treadway he hoped he removed all the gangrene.

The surgeon had removed about a 4" round section including Treadway's navel of his abdomen.

This time Treadway spent about a week in the hospital recuperating from his life threatening condition and operation. The 4" round area had to be left open, not stitched, to heal from the inside out stated the surgeon.

This time when prisoner Treadway returned to Yazoo with a huge open wound he was refused any pain medication at all.

Again, Treadway was forced to walk to the cafeteria, stand in long lines in the freezing cold to eat. Additionally Treadway was forced to walk 1/4 mile round trip to Yazoo medical 3 times a day; waiting hours each time to get the dressing changed on the huge open wound.

On one occasion at night Yazoo medical refused to change his dressing; sent him back to his housing unit to wait until morning for his dressing change. When Nurse Clarkson found out about not changing Treadway's dressing overnight, Treadway advised this writer, Nurse Clarkson was outraged.

To further torture Treadway causing even more pain; upon Treadway's return from his second serious surgery Treadway's counselor "Williams" threw Treadway out of his housing unit, because he was unable to perform his duties as an orderly. Treadway was ordered to get all his belongings packed and move to the second floor of another housing unit 600 yards away.

To add even more torture Yazoo medical, i.e., alleged Dr. Chambers and HSA Ms. Sullivan, refused to allow Treadway any pain medication of any kind after his second operation.

Dr. Massio the BOP's outside physician at Yazoo, told prisoner Treadway that he believed that he had inadvertently stitched an intestine to his closure after the operation. This is "not" the only operation Dr. Massio "botched;" review Bruce Lindner #10. The BOP hires 3 rd rate outside surgeons.
